& AFTER A YEAR, I STILL SUCK AT BISHI BASHI ): ):

Charlene Siying and I had a hell lot of fun doing silly things, srsly. We shopped the malls, chatted non-stop, squealed over games in the arcade, (as usual) self timed shots, hung out at toys r us :) ESC, love yall loaads!

We wanted to get something in common, like a keychain, notebook, earrings, pencilcase and stuffz. But we settled on some sugar bunny watch from the turn-turn machine. I told you we should have gotten the Hello Kitty one (or at least the Disney Princess) from toy r' us at least we get to choose D: Siying says 'we must take what fate gives us' and I've got to accept my ugly-fugly looking blue sugar bunny watch

LETS GO OUT ONCE A MONTH K :] :]

I am feeling blue.

Our surprise birthday party plans for Bubbles failed, humpf! Nevertheless, going to Zong Yi's  house to bake mango cakez and cookies was fun ;) Surprizingly, the first cake turned out real nice (I'm impressed by our baking skillz) not to mention the second one which had mango and puree collapsing onto the floor and in the fridge. Fun fun!

Isa sent us some World Song. It's quite weird how I've never learnt it in my 4 years of Guiding even though it's real important. It sounds like some holy church song though.

Anywayz, if you're bored and need some time killers, do my real short PW survey- http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=GaQo_2fNfIb9DWs5fXIlpX5A_3d_3d Thanks thanks, muacks you!

They say to Him, we have here but five loaves and two fishes
[info]smackthatfish
A little boy of thirteen
was on his way to school
He heard a crowd of people laughing
and he went to take a look

Thousands were listening
to the stories of one man
He spoke with such wisdom,
even the kids could understand

The hours passed so quickly
the day turned to night
Everyone was hungry
but there was no food in sight

The boy looked in his lunchbox
at the little that he had
He wasn't sure what good it'd do
there were thousands to be fed

But he saw the twinkling eyes of Jesus
the kindness in His smile
and the boy cried out
with the trust of a child
he said:

"Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you willI surrender
Take my fears and inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
to feed them all"

I often think about that boy
when I'm feeling small
and I worry that the work I do
means nothing at all

But every single tear I cry
is a diamond in His hands
and every door that slams in my face
I will offer up in prayer

So I'll give you every breath that I have
Oh Lord, you can work miracles
All that you need is my "Amen"

Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you willI surrender
Take my fears and inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
I hope it's not too small
I trust in youI trust in you

Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you willI surrender
Take my fears and inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
no gift is too small

loaves having respect to the principle of good, and fishes to the principle of truth.

My aim in life is to be happy and that includes making those around me happy as well :) Sounds simple, but it's not that easy to achieve.

As of now, I'm really happy for whatever that has happened and thankful for everything. It's probably interact or JC that instilled this in me; I've learnt how to appreciate every little thing that's good that has happened to me and at the same time, grateful to the not-so-good ones for what that does not kill me only makes me stronger. I don't want to list names and things, but even if you've played a eeeni-weenie-bitsy role in my life, I'd be grateful for that and I'd like to say thank you to you :)

I came across something that made a lot of sense. Happiness = Reality/ Expectations. To be happy, increase reality or lower your expectations. & of course, it's easier to do the latter ;) yup yup!

Service to Jamiyah has taught me a lot also. I was really impressed by the way the children's home educate the kids. Even though they might not be smart or have a good family background, they are very well-mannered and good natured. Sometimes, it makes me wonder whether it would be a better option for the kids to stay with their families or to put them in a home. At first, I'd raise both hands for the kids to stay with their parents, but then I realised that it might not be the best option after all. In any case, there's loads for me to improve my service but service makes me happy, whee!

MPS has been fun too! We're on a 10-week attachment but it doesn't end just there. The people there are very welcoming and treat us like a part of their 'family'. It was really heartwarming to see them celebrating each other's birthdays, I mean how often would you remember someone else's birthday in the midst of your hectic life. Awesumz, it's the human touch that makes MPS so special!

& holidays are here, time to tidy up my life and get myself back on track for academics! Plus have truckloads of fun :D mhm, I love June, dunchaaaa?
